Business Breakfast Update

red line

On Thursday 4 December, Old Scholars came together for a relaxed networking breakfast at the Bullitt Hotel. The event offered an opportunity to reconnect, build professional relationships, and celebrate the achievements of the Old Scholar community. Attendees heard industry insights, made new connections, and were inspired by keynote speaker and Old Scholar, Alex Pengelly.

Alex Pengelly (Class of 2010) shared her experience as a designer and creative force behind Nike’s Flyknit innovation. Her work has appeared on the world stage, including at the 2024 Olympic Games, worn by athletes such as Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, LeBron James, Roger Federer, and Mo Farah in his final professional race. After nine years at Nike, Alex has since gone on to lead her own design consultancy, working with brands across the UK, Europe, and Asia.
